14k SOLID GOLD
14 karat solid gold is a beautiful precious metal, made of 58.3% pure gold. It is perfect for dainty jewellery as it is significantly stronger than 18k and 24k gold. You have less to worry about scuffs and scratches.
GOLD VERMEIL
Gold vermeil (pronounced as vur-may) is a premium gold-plated material. It is made of sterling silver plated with a minimum of 10k gold, and with the thickness of a hefty 2.5 microns. We predominantly produce our jewellery in 14k and 18k Gold Vermeil. They are far more durable than other gold plated options and can last for years, if taken care of properly. All of Le Nay's vermeil pieces are stamped with the 925 mark to indicate the sterling silver purity.
925 STERLING SILVER
As its name suggests, 925 sterling silver is primarily made up of 92.5% silver. The remaining 7.5% is made up of copper. It is a preferred option over pure silver in making jewellery as pure silver is usually too soft to work with. Le Nay’s sterling- silver pieces are stamped with the 925 mark - indicating the purity of the metal. We also plate our silver jewellery pieces in rhodium which not only provides a protective layer against tarnishing, but also gives your silver pieces an extra shine!
GEMSTONES
We work with a range of genuine precious and semi-precious gemstones from emerald to rose quartz. They are sourced for their distinct beauty, rarity and depth of colour. As the colour and clarity of gemstones differ naturally, each stone is truly unique and special for you to keep.
CUBIC ZIRCONIA
We use cubic zirconia (AAAAA quality synthetic gemstone) as a more durable and modest alternative to diamonds. They shine bright just like diamonds and are made for everyday wear. A perfect combination!
PEARLS
We use farmed pearls from freshwater mussels for their distinct texture and the warmth of their lustre. Their unique charm will last you a lifetime if you treat them with love!
